Magnetic Solutions for Electric Motors & Drives

From BLDC and servo motors to drone propulsion, motor performance is decided inside the magnetic circuit. We engineer arc magnets, segment magnets and complete rotor assemblies that protect your efficiency, torque quality and thermal margin — from first prototype to stable mass production.

What We See in Motor Projects

These are the failure modes motor engineers bring to us most often — and none of them are solved by a catalog magnet.

Cogging torque & NVH

Torque ripple shows up as vibration and acoustic noise your customers notice. Magnet geometry, dimensional consistency and magnetization accuracy all feed directly into cogging behavior.

Efficiency loss at speed

At high RPM, eddy currents in magnets and inconsistent flux density eat into efficiency. Grade selection and segmentation strategy determine how much power your motor actually delivers.

Thermal demagnetization

Winding temperatures climb under load. A grade chosen without real thermal margin suffers irreversible flux loss — and your motor's performance silently degrades in the field.

Batch-to-batch inconsistency

Prototype works, production drifts. Variation in Br, dimensions and magnetization angle between batches creates torque scatter that your assembly line and your customers can't absorb.

How XAK Solves Them

Application-first engineering — we start from your operating conditions, not our catalog.

1

Grade selection with real thermal margin

We match the grade to your actual winding temperature and duty cycle — N grades for room-temperature designs, SH (150°C), UH (180°C) and EH (200°C) where the heat demands it, and SmCo beyond that.

2

Geometry engineered for your magnetic circuit

Arc, segment and bread-loaf profiles with dimensional tolerances down to ±0.05 mm. We review your slot/pole combination and air gap to recommend magnet geometry that minimizes cogging.

3

Magnetization tailored to your design

Radial, through-thickness, multi-pole or skewed magnetization patterns — including Halbach arrays for high power-density designs where every point of flux matters.

4

Batch consistency you can build on

Flux measurement and dimensional inspection on every production batch, with reports you can file. What you validated in the prototype is what arrives in production.
