EMI Shielding & Absorber Solutions

Ferrite sheets, absorber sheets and magnetic films — for on-metal NFC/RFID, wireless power and board-level noise suppression. Standard or die-cut to your drawing, small batches welcome, and non-magnetized product that ships as regular goods worldwide.

The Problems We Close Out

Late-stage EMC and RF problems are expensive. These are the ones engineering teams bring to us most often.

Antenna detuned by metal

Mount an NFC/RFID antenna on metal and read range collapses. Without a ferrite layer redirecting the flux between antenna and metal, your 13.56 MHz link falls below what the application promises.

EMI test failure at the lab

Radiated or conducted emissions discovered at certification force redesigns when tooling is already locked. The right absorber sheet, placed correctly, often closes the gap without touching the PCB.

Wireless charging runs hot & slow

Poor magnetic shielding behind the coil wastes energy, heats the device and interferes with nearby circuits. Charging efficiency depends on the sheet behind the coil as much as the coil itself.

Space & thickness constraints

Consumer and industrial electronics leave fractions of a millimeter for magnetic materials. Sheet performance at 0.05–0.5 mm — plus adhesive and die-cut quality — decides what fits.

One material decision: redirect the flux or absorb it? Sheets with high μ′ (real permeability) guide magnetic flux where you want it — NFC/RFID and wireless charging. Sheets with high μ″ (magnetic loss) convert noise energy into heat — broadband EMI suppression. The right material is frequency-specific: tell us the frequency, and half the selection is done.

Four Application Families — One Selection Map

Find your situation in the map. If two rows look right, send us both — we'll help you choose with data, not guesswork.

Your situationWhat mattersXAK series
NFC / RFID anti-metal tags & antennas — read range collapsed on metal at 13.56 MHzHigh μ′, very low loss (μ″) at 13.56 MHz; thin enough for your stack-upXAK-NFC
Wireless charging — low efficiency, heat, Qi at 100–205 kHz or 6.78 MHzLow-loss sheet behind the coil; thickness vs. coupling trade-offXAK-WPT
PCB noise suppression — failed RE/CE at the lab, no time to re-spin the boardHigh μ″ broadband absorption, 100 MHz–3 GHz; right placement over the noise sourceXAK-ABS
Low-frequency magnetic fields — 50 Hz–kHz interference near sensors, motors, transformersVery high permeability at power frequency — nanocrystalline territoryXAK-MSH

Series & Typical Parameters

Four series cover the frequency range from power-line hum to multi-GHz noise. All available as roll stock, cut sheets, or die-cut to your drawing.

Typical values for material selection reference. RoHS compliant; halogen-free options available. Permeability curves and batch test data available on request — final specifications are confirmed with our team before design freeze.

Non-magnetized product = simple logistics. Ferrite and absorber sheets ship as regular goods — no magnetic inspection, no special air-freight handling, standard express delivery worldwide.

What We Deliver

Standard sheets are available — but most of our customers send a shape, and receive parts that drop straight into their assembly.

Delivery Formats

  • Roll stock — standard widths, slit-to-width service
  • Cut sheets — A4 / 300×300 mm and custom sizes
  • Die-cut parts — the core of our service: rings, frames, antenna outlines, complex cut-outs
  • Options — acrylic adhesive backing, PET cover film, release liner, multi-layer lamination, printing/marking

Engineering Support

  • Material selection by frequency, μ′ vs μ″, thickness
  • Sample lots and short runs welcome — development-friendly quantities
  • Bench-test guidance: read range, near-field scan, charge efficiency
  • Batch test data and permeability curves on request
  • RoHS/REACH compliant materials
