Seal failure & leakage

Mechanical seals are the number-one failure point in pumps. In chemical, pharmaceutical and food service, a leaking seal means contamination, downtime and safety exposure. A magnetic drive eliminates the seal entirely — but only if the coupling holds its torque for years.

Temperature & corrosion killing standard magnets

Hot media and aggressive chemicals push standard NdFeB past its limits: irreversible flux loss, coating breakdown, coupling slip. Grade and protection chosen without real margin fail silently in the field.

Metal contamination in product streams

Tramp metal in food powders, recycling lines and mineral processing damages equipment and fails audits. Separation performance depends on magnet grade, circuit design and how the assembly is built — not just magnet size.

Downtime economics

Coupling design review with real torque margin

Send us your pump speed, torque and slip tolerance — we review magnet layout, pole count and air gap on the inner and outer rotor, and recommend a coupling geometry that holds rated torque with margin at your maximum temperature.

Material selection for the actual environment

NdFeB in high-temperature grades (SH/UH/EH) for standard duty; SmCo 2:17 where heat and corrosion rule out NdFeB. Encapsulation and coating options matched to your media — acids, solvents, CIP cleaning or outdoor exposure.

Ferrite and high-intensity NdFeB assemblies for plates, grates, drums and overband separators — configured to your material flow, particle size and throughput, from mining and recycling to food-grade powder lines.
